S&P rallies :Payrolls rise less than forecast : 22nd Oct 2013


Jobs Data was big miss as 3 month NFP average dropped to +143K , thanks to US Shutdown . US markets rallied in hope that Fed will continue its buying $85B/month . Unemployment rate was 7.2% far away from Fed guideline of 6.5% [QE3 is stopped completely]. Overall US economy not improving as expected as of now and Fed need to wait a bit more to stop tapering.Reports also suggest hiring may improve this month where retailors have started announcing plans for holiday season

Expect a gap up opening tomorrow in Asian Session , where Nikkei , Sensex may be close to record high . On the earnings report Wipro , Cairn India , Rallis India, Zee , Persistent Systems  and Indiabulls reported better than expected margins .  Nifty may touch 6350 tomorrow with Q3 earnings coming up better and news on Global stocks have rallied today with funds still likely to flow in emerging economies . With RBI policy next week Mr. Rajan will look to increase rates as inflation and growth will still be a priority when he unveils Monitory Policy.


I closed my short #EurGbp positions today morning [as updated in my Flash Report]. I would like to mention here always be disciplined in your trades , have a strategy , book losses whenever required and ride on to profits if the trade works in your favor. I am completely disappointed on the equities as I am not at all convinced on the their valuations Vs. Economic Growth , as I can only forecast ..Markets decide their own path .

S&P bullish : Nifty slides : RBI Policy Ahead

S&P currently trading 2532 as i write this post , Its being bullish for long with no signs of tiring off , global stocks overall are on a ride for the past 2-3 months and still going strong . Nifty touched 10000 mark before sliding down , I am still bullish India but needs a pullback to go long . I will be scanning specific stocks as well so that i stay invested in the short term . Macroeconomic indicators are not favorable in the current scenario , we need to watch for RBI delivers tomorrow. Markets Quiet , Awaiting APPLE product event

Big Day for Apple , all waiting their product event today . Are you long APPLE stock ...we could see lot of volatility here . As a trader we dont trade the news but rely on charts over a longer time frame . Keep your trades small over months and weeks and see your profit grow ...rather than trades which are bigger over a shorter time frame .
